Join the Thousand Islands Land Trust (TILT) on a night-time winter adventure. Dr. Joshua Thomas, Assistant Professor of Physics at Clarkson University, will bring out his telescope and help all participants gaze into space. With fun activities and a short hike through TILT’s Otter Creek Preserve and Nature Trail, we will learn all about the moon, stars, and planets in the night sky, and then huddle around the fire with s’mores!
Refreshments will be provided. Please bring your own snowshoes/boots and flashlights!
This Trek is free and open to the public, and is perfect for families. Register in advance (so that we have enough marshmallows!) by calling 315-686-5345, emailing [email protected], or signing up here.
