Description
Please join us for the River of Lights – a free light and sound show happening every evening in December from 5 pm – 10 pm. With snowshoe races like this, you will stay in shape, and truly experience what winter in the Tug Hill offers. For you veterans, you know what I'm talking about. But for those trying this snowshoe race for the first time, the "Stone Wall" has evolved into one of the biggest snowshoe events in the country, and for good reason. With reliable Tug Hill snow, unique awards, a snowshoe give away, and a fantastic post race party that includes complimentary hot foods and music, this is the "NOT TO MISS" event of the winter season. Choose from a 5K citizen's distance that accomodates all ability levels, and is family friendly. Choose to race, run, or walk with friends. The 10K course is one you will never forget, and is designed for those who are very fit, with snowshoe running experience. If you want to walk the 10K distance, please make arrangements for an earlier start time. Race venue is conveniently located 6 miles off Exit 39 (Mannsville exit) from I81, at CCC Camp/Rt 90/Bargy Road.
