Possibly the most fireworks displays in a week, anywhere. Here we celebrate the founding of two counties, with festivities surrounding Canada Day on July 1 and Independence Day, July 4. Just about all our communities on both sides of the border stage a fireworks display, often over the waters of Lake Ontario or the St. Lawrence River to the delight of boaters and tour boat passengers. Shows are typically staggered throughout the week, so you can often catch fireworks several nights in a row.
