Discover how soldiers and their families lived in the 1840’s in this original British fortification. Once inside the walls, visit the barracks, powder magazine, officer’s quarters and even the latrines and a caponniere. Meet interpretive guides in period costumes who will be happy to share exciting tales and the secret stories of the Fort. Try on historic costumes and watch a solider fire a rifle. Check out the Visitor Centre that is featuring an 1812-era gunboat and other informative exhibits. Self-guided tours and guided tours available daily.
