Thousand Islands State Parks Region

Stretching from Lake Ontario north along the St. Lawrence River, the Thousand Islands Region includes 28 state parks, Sackets Harbor Battlefield Historic Site and six stand-alone boat launches, as well as thousands of great campsites. Campsite and cottage reservations only can be made at 800-456-CAMP. Part of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation.

New York State Parks offer docking and/or launch sites at several locations on the shores of Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. Ice, bait, ice cream and gasoline are sold at some locations. Operating from May to October.
