The world’s only zoo dedicated to New York’s wild animals and wild places! Located in the heart of historic Thompson Park in Watertown, NY, the zoo mission is to provide the knowledge and motivation to conserve nature in the Empire State through science-based natural and cultural experiences. Animals, including wolverines, black bears, eagles, mountain lions, Canada lynx, grey wolves and more make their home at the 32-acre Zoo. Open daily May through October; Saturdays and Sundays November through April, plus school breaks.
